Anna Gunn began acting as an elementary school student at Sante Fe New Mexico. Her family then moved to Ohio, where she continued her passion for the theatre. Anna attended the British American Drama Academy and studied theatre through Northwestern University. Anna spent a few seasons working in Chicago theater before transitioning to television and film. Anna's first major role was Arden on Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. As a guest-star, Anna appeared in Seinfeld and NYPD Blue. In fact, it was only in the latter part of 1990 when she was cast in a role in The Practice. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008 she was cast as Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully and Deadwood were also the highlights of her acting career. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer's production Sex With Strangers. Gunn also appeared in the podcast audio drama of four episodes Numbered days, which was made available in 2022. Breaking Bad revolves around Walter White's relationship with Skyler. Walter White's personal story and the strain on his relationship with Skyler can be seen in the show.
